Accessibility statement

We want iMatta Junior to work for every parent and every teacher. This page explains what we aim for, where we are today, and how to tell us when something is not working.

Our target

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard across the public website. The taught programme, the parent portal, and the parent support service inherit the same target.

What we do today

• Semantic HTML, correct heading order, and clear landmarks on every page.
• Keyboard navigation on every interactive element, with visible focus states.
• Colour contrast that meets AA on body text and controls, in both light and dark themes.
• Alt text on every image that carries meaning; decorative images marked as such.
• Text that scales cleanly at 200% zoom without breaking layout.
• Reduced-motion preferences respected where we use animation.

Where we are not yet

The site is still in early build. We know we have work to do on:

• A published, dated audit report against the WCAG 2.1 AA checklist.
• Full screen-reader testing across VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.
• Video captions and transcripts for all lesson content (in progress).

If something on the site is hard to use for you, please tell us. Include a short description, the page URL, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We take these seriously and reply within two working days.
